Fortis is committed to giving back to the community. Fortis has supported grant writing for not-for-profit organisations that has led to several millions in projects. In addition, Fortis has provided over $1m in direct probono contributions to ensure our NFP clients have achieved some significant outcomes, while Fortis continues to deliver on our social licence to operate.
Our commitment to the community sector runs deep. Beyond our considerable contributions and funding wins for the sector, senior team members hold significant roles within the community and not-for-profit sector, including:
- Zonta House Women’s Refuge – leading strategic change to help overcome the cycle of violence for current and future generations of at-risk women.
- Regional Advisory Committee (WA) of the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI – simulating organisational and public engagement with cross-cultural and cross-linguistic communication strategies and careers .
- Mary sits on the Board of the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and interpreters (NAATI) where she contributes to cross linguistic and cross cultural communication policy and practice nationally.
