Our people, now totalling in excess of 30 consultants from around Australia, all come from top-tier backgrounds earned in industry, professional services or public sector, offering insightful, professional advice and services to our clients.

Executive Director, Education & Training - Mary Gurgone
Fortis Consulting Director of Education & Training, Mary Gurgone (BA, THC, Grad Dip Business, MBA) provides strategic research and policy advice to clients in the education and training sector. Key areas of focus include skill development to address the needs of the changing demographics and facilitating change and improvements to strategic directions, policy, research and practice. Her public sector experience spans education, training, audit, market research and evaluation and policy roles. In the private sector she has held senior consultancy roles, delivering programs at local and international levels. Mary has also recently worked as a Director at a TAFE college and Director of Policy and Planning at the Department for Communities, along with holding a number of Chairperson and Board roles.

Executive Chairman - Adrian Gurgone
Fortis Consulting Chairman, Adrian Gurgone (Chartered Accountant, MBA, Master of Accounting, GAICD), has senior-level experience within global consultancies and is a non-executive director of an ASX-listed investment company. Adrian helps ensure the appropriate strategic direction and client-centric focus for the boutique consultancy. Adrian previously held senior roles for Deloitte Consulting in Australia and Management Consulting Group, a top-tier boutique financial consulting firm in the UK. He has provided consulting advice to senior executives in some of the largest companies, government agencies and academic institutions globally. Adrian has over 15 years of experience in advising blue-chip clients. He also is Chief Investment Officer for Fortis Capital (Fortis WA Equities Fund) and occasionally lectures for a top rating MBA programme. |
