This training institution, which delivers training to 29,000 students by 2,000 staff, sought a major organisational change initiative.

Client:

As one of Australia’s largest training institutes, Central Institute of Technology trains more than 29,000 students annually, including 1300 international students. For the second year in a row, Central has been awarded International Training Provider of the Year at the WA Training Awards.

Project:

Quantitative and qualitative analysis preceded staff, student and industry engagement which led to development of a new culture and approach embedding equity and access into course-delivery. Targets were tailored to each study area and policies were developed in line with Australian Qualification Training Framework requirements.

Sustainable Solution:

This project drove significant cultural change underpinned by targets which were built into the operational plans of each school and branch.
