The topic of this forum was mental health – a significant societal challenge. Mental health problems affect people of all ages, from all cultures and social groups. Cultural background influences how people respond to the experience of mental illness. Furthermore, the services and support needed by individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse communities need to be understood, designed and delivered appropriately.
