Fortis Consulting invited Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community organisations and CALD aged care service providers to our office on Tuesday where we held our PICAC Partnership event.

The event focused on discussions to facilitate the forming of partnerships to: 1) improve services to CALD elderly people in our community, and 2) help CALD elderly people gain better access to culturally appropriate care. The workshop was structured to provide a mix of current, informed input alongside the opportunity for participant participation and interaction, with many participants saying they would take ideas from their discussions back to their organisation to implement.

Mary Gurgone, Fortis Consulting, leads her group's discussion on culturally appropriate care.
