In 2014, Fortis was engaged to design and deliver a workshop focused on valuing workforce diversity targeted at senior staff in Aged-Care organisations.

In 2014, Fortis Consulting was engaged to design and deliver a bespoke workshop focused on valuing workforce diversity targeted at senior staff in Aged-Care organisations.

Services Provided:

Fortis developed, refined and piloted a workshop, based on the materials provided by the peak body outlining the detailed and comprehensive thinking nationally, culminating in a Facilitator’s Guide. The industry pilot workshop was delivered and refines and edited post pilot. Following this evaluation and refinement, Fortis delivered the workshop across Australia in major capital cities including Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and for individual aged-care organisations, on request.

Project Outcomes:

  • Requests from agencies to continue the conversation about strategies to implement positive change into their organisations
  • Recognition by Aged Care industry representatives about the continuing need to support aged care agencies in dealing with diversity among both the workforce and clients
  • Continuing support by governments in building capacity of Aged Care agencies in managing diversity.
